Objective
The project aimed to upgrade and modernise rail control systems, improve operational efficiency and enhance network safety across one of Western Australia’s key freight corridors.
Scope of Works
As part of the project, LGC Rail Services provided a comprehensive supply of labour hire and equipment to assist with the construction works for the RTP project.
Our team supported Wabtec’s control systems division in delivering critical works across the project. Roles supplied included labourers, operators, electrical trade assistants, electricians, leading hands, supervisors, superintendents, HSE personnel and administrative staff.
These resources were integral to maintaining project momentum and ensuring consistent delivery across remote and logistically challenging environments.
Project Outcome
Over the 12+ month period, our workforce played a vital role in assisting Wabtec in completing the project, by supplying experienced labour hire to ensure works were delivered safely, efficiently and to the highest standards. The collaboration highlighted LGC Rail’s capability to support large-scale rail technology projects in regional locations across Western Australia.
